We acknowledge that our sustainability journey is an ongoing process and have developed concrete goals encompassing the most relevant ESG topics, with a focus on the following targets:

EcoVadis GOLD medal
Nexperia has achieved a successful sustainability performance rating result and received a GOLD medal from EcoVadis in April 2024. This result places Nexperia among the top 5% percent (97th percentile) of companies in our industry assessed by EcoVadis in the past 12 months. The result underpins Nexperia’s strong sustainability performance as well as proves its mission statement with sustainability as one of the three main pillars.
EcoVadis is an independent rating agency that rates suppliers based on their performance in the four areas environment, sustainable procurement, human and labor rights, and ethics. The rating agency was established in 2007 and belongs with its global network of more than 130,000 rated companies to the world's largest and most reliable provider of sustainability ratings. EcoVadis medals recognize companies that have completed the EcoVadis assessment process and demonstrated a strong sustainability performance.
First ESG Risk Rating
We are proud to announce that in July 2023, Nexperia received an ESG Risk Rating of 18.7 and was assessed by Morningstar Sustainalytics to be at low risk of experiencing material financial impacts from Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors.
This inaugural ESG Risk Rating places Nexperia in the top echelon of companies, ranking among the top 11% out of a total of 221 assessed entities within the semiconductor design and manufacturing subindustry on a global scale. This assessment underscores Nexperia's dedication to sustainability and responsible business practices, positioning the company among the top 16% within the larger global semiconductor industry.
Furthermore, Nexperia also received a strong overall ESG Risk Management Rating – underscoring the company's commitment to comprehensive ESG programs, practices, and policies.
